Also, I don't know what, if any kind of use I'll get out of it, but I'm signing up for SquareUp - an app that lets you accept credit card payments. It's 2.75% per payment, but it might be worth it. I've had personal experience with it before - they were using it at Big Omaha last year to accept Charity:Water payments, and it's pretty cool. I might not have the reader by Saturday if I order it today, but it'll be worth it, just in case.
As excited as I am about this weekend, there's also a down side. I'd bought my mother and sister tickets to one of the classes as a Mother's Day gift. I thought it would be something fun for my mom and sister to do together. I emailed my mom the day I bought tickets (well over a month ago now) and told her the date and time. Apparently, she didn't write it down or put it on her calendar or anything. I emailed her a reminder this morning and she told me that she signed up for the 5k at her work, yesterday, and that now she might not be able to get out of it. I'm pretty sure if she explained that her daughter had Mother's Day plans for her, that'd be a good enough excuse to get out of it. But, whatever. So, I might just be picking up Jodie and taking the class with her instead. I'm disappointed, but I usually expect this kind of thing from my mom, so I'm not too surprised.
FOR KANSAS CITY PEOPLE:
If you want to see a cool bellydance show - it's 7pm at the Heart of America Dance Center in Lees Summit, MO. Tickets are cheap ($5 I think?) and I'll be the MC for the event. Tickets are available at the door, or you can get them at the Eventbrite site: http://warriorweekend2011.eventbrite.com

Have fun and good luck! I'm sure you'll have an awesome time.
I'm pretty excited, provided everything pans out as planned. :)
I suppose I should update my journal sometime so you know more how I'm doing, too, as opposed to my soundbites of hilarity (mostly to me) on the FB.
Hey! You're loved!
