Birthday and Buttons and ?

Prior to Gen Con, I ordered some GA buttons and they came in that weekend. They're adorable little controllers with wings and a heart, and I love them a lot. I ordered a ton since I needed to send some to be in swag bags at the 3G Summit in Chicago this past weekend. I'm taking the rest with me to PAX so we'll have buttons to pass out to people. Hopefully I'll come home empty-handed. It has gotten me thinking about other swag type things though, like silicone/rubber bracelets and stickers and keychains. Random GA merch. We've got tshirts, but the ones done by Zazzle don't come in the sizes I want them to and I never seem to be able to find a regular shirt for myself that I'm willing to silkscreen. I do like making them, so I might have to buckle down and make one for myself for PAX.

My 30th birthday is in two weeks, to which I am looking forward. I am, and always will be a big kid, so the number 30 doesn't really scare me like it seems to most girls. It's my age, but not how I feel, unless we're talking health - then I feel about 80.

Matt and my mother are planning a party for me here at the house. No, it's not a surprise party, because I hates them precious. Matt is making me a disgustingly rich birthday cake with homemade cookies and homemade icecream (it's an ice cream cake) and I think I might be most excited about this.

On the writing front, I got my femgenficathon story edited and posted. It's been finished for a bit, but I've been a slacker about editing, so it took me too long to finish. But, it's done now. I'm seriously *this close* to finishing my scifibigbang story and sending it to my beta. I think I might skip practice tonight in order to make this so. Having just one of these things done feels like a weight has lifted. Making progress on my massive to do list, makes me very happy.

I would ADORE GA rubber bracelets, I say we do it! We could make stuff on CafePress.com also, maybe. And yay, you're a Virgo! Also, I have internet again, so if you guys have news you need up, keep forwarding it my way. I now need to type up this DS9 review that's been sitting here for so long. ; ;

We have both a CafePress store and a Zazzle store - the problem is the INSANE amount of markup you have to put on things in order to make any money from them.

I am a Virgo - I think it's the whole reason I'm such an organizational crazy person.

Also, I adore your Inception icon, and

***Spoilers for anyone who may read E's journal!***

It's my theory that the entire movie is Mal's attempts at Inception against Cobb. Your awesome icon is evidence of that too! I LOVED the ending.

Also, I'm a bit of a perfectionist Libra, and my DQ9 review is driving me insane because I don't know how or what the Canvas feature is because no one I know has the game. :/ Should I just ignore that in my review?

That's a popular theory about the movie, and it makes so much sense.

DQ9 - This review talks about the canvas feature: http://nsider2.com/2010/07/23/dragon-quest-ix-sentinels-of-the-stary-sky-review/
