Work, Gaming & E3

So, creepy guy from the cafeteria? Apparently, he's making the rounds on the 9th floor. A few people have mentioned talking to him, and having him say other random slightly creepy things.

For duendegrrl's birthday Friday we had some friends over to watch a few episodes of Life (the BBC/Discovery Channel documentary narrated by Oprah) and play some The Beatles Rock Band. A good time was hopefully had by all. I know I enjoyed it. I look forward to a few hours of free time where I can play through the game on story mode. :)

Yesterday, Matt and I went out with the rest of his family to his mother's family reunion. Thankfully his sister was there so I had someone to talk to. It's an odd sort of event to attend when most of the other people there are so much older, and it's obvious for some of them, this is going to be the last chance they get to connect. Overall, it was an interesting event, but by the end of it, I was tired of listening to people talk about having children or grandchildren or whatever. Matt's dad is all over his sister and her husband to have babies, and it gets really old to listen to, really fast.

I really wish I was at E3 this week. I've got a badge and everything. What I didn't have was the time available to take an entire week off of work. But we've got several GA staff members there this year, and there should be some good stuff coming from there this week. We'll have as much news as we can stand up on GA as the week goes on.
