Prizes and the Dancing Holiday

So, if you're on Twitter, make sure you're following the @gamingangels account! I'm temporarily the person behind it while we onboard our new PR person, and I'm taking the opportunity to give away a code today! At 12 noon PST (in about three hours) I'll be giving away a code for a free PopCap game. PopCap are the brilliant minds behind Plants vs. Zombies and Bejeweled.

It's a three-day holiday weekend here in the states this weekend, and I'm going to be spending the majority of it dancing. Provided of course, that my body agrees with me. I've had a super hard time lately sleeping and getting to sleep and generally feeling pretty run down. I think a lot of it is just the extra stress from extra work recently, at both jobs. But, more than that, I know I'm also still fighting the never-ending sinus infection which means my immune system is pretty much running on empty right now. So, I've signed up for three classes (I had to do two so I could perform Saturday night) but we'll see how it goes.

I'm super excited, even if I'm crap during class because I'm taking two classes with Ariellah again, who I think is amazing. I'd link a video for her, but I don't think her videos do her justice. As a matter of fact, most of her videos I find pretty boring because a lot of what she does is very powerful emotionally (which doesn't necessarily make sense) but you have to be there in person to get it. I mean, I was pretty bored by her videos before I saw her perform live, but when I saw her live, she gave me goosebumps. It's just that different. All that to say I'm pretty excited to be in classes with her again. She's amazing - and she kicks your butt during class.

The performance this weekend, is the same choreographies from Warrior Weekend in April, but it's just two of us performing, so we've changed up the second half to be a bit more duet-y. Provided we can remember some of the more fun things we've added, it should make for a fun performance. And my first duet. I may be slowly working my way towards a solo (someday).
