Days #39 - #44

I'm getting really bad at keeping track of these on a daily basis. That's not to say that I'm not doing stuff, but I have a hard time remembering to write it down, or don't have the availability to keep track of it daily. The little recaps by chunks of days are good, but then I also start forgetting what it is exactly I'm doing on these days.

Ultimately what I'd really like is a website connected with email and an iphone app that I could submit items daily without having to do a lot of work. But I don't program, and I don't know any freeware sources of software that I could easily do something like this. I have some aspirations on what a site like this could turn into, but that take more time and effort than I really have right now.

Thursday - I tried to ask a question of the moderators over at girl_gamers. They're pretty strict over there about advertising or people trying to ask something more than 'what do you think/like about x game' so I thought I'd contact them first. One of the mods responded to me sort with a sort of hostile or questionable tone which I wasn't too happy with. Instead of immediately responding, or going ahead and posting my query to the community, I waited and responded later answering the sort of leading or speculative questions posed to me. Unfortunately, they either don't believe me, or they're ignoring me on purpose, because it's a week later, and I haven't heard back from them.

Friday - About 2 hours of hard core dance rehearsal of La Camisa Negra with the girls I'll be dancing with during the Bellydancers Ball. I'd never been to the YMCA in Independence before, but we had a great open room with mirrors, and got a lot of work done. Also trying out changes that I've thought up to the choreography has been a lot of fun.

Saturday - Council of Thieves Pathfinder game. Awesome. Also crazy Ball Craft craziness - I think I made about 20 pairs of earrings.

Sunday - Stayed almost an hour passed the end of my knitting class in order to help a student finish a project. I love it when students finish in class, so I didn't mind staying and helping. There was also a Red Dwarf marathon, which was lots of fun.

Monday - I got my new monitor in the mail. It's my very first widescreen monitor, and I love it. It'll take a little getting used to, but I like it.

Tuesday - I volunteered for an activity during foster care class. Not that I haven't volunteered in the past, or don't speak up, but I'm not big on volunteering if it requires more than reading a passage. Normally our instructors are pretty good about helping us know what kind of activity it is ahead of time (for example, I'm not willing to volunteer if they warn us there'll be some sort of touching like holding hands or hands on shoulders involved). But I volunteered for an activity which was good for me.
