Thinking about November

I've only got two classes in November, and even with them and trying to finish up my certification assignments I think I will be able to handle NaNoWriMo. The problem has been trying to figure out what to write. I haven't done any serious writing all year really, a few chapters here and there. But, I think I'm about to that mental point where it's going to all come flowing out pretty soon, so I'd better put some structure around it. So, now, I've got seven days to decide what story I'm going to write about for a month, or if I want to pick a new one. So far, none of the stuff I have notes on has really been poking at me - with the exception of Tinamou fbandom. But, I'm pretty sure I want to stick with my 450-500 word chapters for them, so I need to find something else. Seven days...I'll think of something.

In the meantime, I'm trying to get some Gaming Angels stuff figured out before the holiday season is upon us. We're going to try and do some pretty structured holiday guides this year, but I have to figure out that structure before I can give assignments. Also? We've got some awesome giveaway stuff - a few games, some Gears of War COG tags (I'm wearing mine today at work) and maybe even some Gamer Grub (which isn't available in stores yet). Speaking of Gaming Angels, it's very possible in the next couple of months we'll be looking for another writer or two. So if you're a female gamer who would like to get some writing experience, let me know.

Also - very randomly - did anyone else notice it was previous teen actor week on TV? Chuck had Ben Savage (Nichol Ritchie may act well - but doesn't count to my point), Criminal Minds had Robin Lively & Wil Wheaton (awesome), and CSI: NY had Devon Gumersall. Did I miss anyone? I'd count Robin Tunney but she's a recurring character on The Mentalist, not a bit part. :)

I bow down to your cog tags =D

Doesnt seem like there are many gaming conventions in or around the chicago area. At least I have never heard of one myself. Cuz I would love to go to one.

I am always bored and looking for something to do. I dunno what kind of writing you guys are thinking of but I would be interested.

I would love to see if I could do it but I know I couldn't finish something. *lol* I might try the lamer blog 30 times in a day thing though.

Do you play WoW, by chance?

I do play WoW. I'm an officer in the Daughters of the Horde guild on the Bronzebeard server (it's a Female player only guild).

And you never know until you give it a try. Besides it's better to try and fail when it comes to writing - you at least get to learn where your boundaries are.

I managed to catch Criminal Minds this week, Wheaton was quite the scary villian!

I love the Mentalist. Nice to see Simon Baker smile once in a while (unlike in his previous series where he never smiled).

With Simon Baker - it's all about that smile for me. If it wasn't for him and that smile I would've stopped watching The Mentalist by now.
