Discarded by her captors...

Ah, back to the computer at last...didn't seem like I'd ever see one again. But I'm back and it feels so good.
I don't have a lot to say right now, I'm trying to work on the story, but I'll post that for you to see...it's actually an assignment for class. We're supposed to describe our main characters, from someone else's perspective. So I chose the Lady of the house that Kirith works for...

"I envied her youth. I had invited her on that trip instead of the other women of the house because of it. I watched at each town we entered as the men turned slightly to get of glimpse of her getting out of my carriage. Her hair slightly rust-colored hair, windswept, although tamer than what is usual falling around her shoulders. Those strikingly green eyes, smallish nose, and slightly pointed chin held up more than what is fitting of a servant girl. I knew it was not defiance, not rebellion that kept her head high, it was confidence. Her small frame under the borrowed clothes of her mother standing straight, back not yet bent from years of scrubbing floors as her mother’s. It was if she felt no fear. Had no regrets. I had thought that one day she would be swept away from my home by some lad of the city."

And then there's this, which is a bit enjoyable to me...

Not so ominous
I got a five...I tend to be a bit to stoic to be obviously ominous, though.
Hmm, obviously ominous...say that five times fast.
