I've got a cold.

One of those hacking, coughing, sniffling, sore body aching colds. I inherited it from my little sister. I should've known better than to hang out with her around this time of the year. But I noticed her hacking last night, and a few hours later, so was I, so technically we must have gotten it about the same time.

Thanksgiving with Dad was fun. If you excuse all the horrible familyness. Uncle Tommy passed out minutes after we were done eating. We suspect he got into Dad's medicine when we were upstairs. My step-sister Kim's husband, opened his big mouth and was saying all sorts of things to guests that aren't supposed to be public knowledge...and Kim and her brother Aaron started a humongous arguement over dinner about Animal Testing. And if all that wasn't enough, almost everyone laughed when Dad and Sherri suggested a prayer before the meal. I was most definitely not amused. It's one thing to disagree about it. It's another thing to be totally disrespectful about it. That was terribly off-putting.

Had dessert back at home, and spent the evening watching a Buffy marathon on TV in the living room on the new suede furniture. It's super comfy, and we have a really big TV down there now, so I watched five consecutive hours of Buffy, and felt mostly sick for the rest of the night. Today wasn't too bad. A lot of sniffling, and aching, and trying not to drown on the crap in my lungs...but I'm still mobile, so that's something. Picked up my paycheck, that was MINUS my bonus. I was not happy about that. They say before Christmas...leaving only one more paycheck that it could be in. And if it's not here then...gah. I will hurt someone.

I don't have pictures of the new hair yet, but be patient and they will arrive soonly.
I also finished addressing and stamping all of my invitations, and hopefully be sending them out tomorrow. Yup. Yup.

Happy Thanksgiving! I totally agree with the whole disrespt thing. Im not a religious person, but the majority of my family is and I went along just to please them. A difference of opinion doesnt give you the right to flat out laugh. Thats so not right.

Re: Hey
Those were my thoughts as well, I just couldn't believe they'd be so disrespectful as to laugh in the middle of a prayer. I was extremely dissapointed in my family.
