You'd think there'd be a better way...

Excel and I spent the better part of yesterday in a big disagreement. See, I think that if I type in A=B=C that Excel should tell me True or False, just as it does when I say A=B. But, it doesn't. Well, technically it does, it's just wrong. If in fact A=B=C, Excel will tell me false, when it's really true. However, it took me even longer to figure out that if I did A=B and then A=C and then compared those two results Excel was still giving me wrong numbers. My very smart husband tells me that that route fails some sort of logic principle, and even if I can't understand that, I know that he's right, based on the results I was getting. Luckily, he was able to help me figure out a good way to get the answers I needed without going through a ton more trouble. *sigh*

Work is stupid sometimes.

I would think that Excel wants to be asked "A=B AND B=C AND A=C", no?

In other words, at the end of the day a computer is just a dumb little tin box with a knack of doing exactly what you tell it, as long as it's not what you want. :-P

Yeah, something like that. Of course, it just can't be that easy. :)

Oh, well, you see, Microsoft products are not designed to make YOUR life easy... *wink*

BTW, I really like the floral design in your banner. Very elegant. :-)
