Dec. 30th, 2003

I got the Christmas card from miss sunraven today! It's beautiful, I love it, you do such pretty work.

I wanted to spend the rest of my Christmas money today on The Sims: Busting Out for the GameCube, but I decided better against it, hopefully only until this weekend when I get paid. Unfortunately by then, I'm not going to be feeling so great, but eh. Not much I can do there.

Got out of work early tonight and we went to the mall. B. Dalton Books is closing down at the mall, we guess because Barnes and Noble is moving across the street from their current location to a much bigger and better store. No need to have two book stores owned by the same company in close proximity like that. Unfortunately, there's not much left of the mall, it's kind of sad to see places like that that have been around forever closing down. Everything in the store was 40%, which is where my new Exalted book yesterday came from, and I got another one tonight as well.

Spent a bit of time this evening playing Metroid Prime. Remembered to save it before I went and fought the Parasite Queen, and it only took my twice after that to get the hell outta there before I blew up. I was remarking earlier today how this game requires use of all the buttons on the controller. Never played a game like that before, it's a stretch, but I'll get used to it.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm not sure I'll make it on tomorrow night before I head over to Anjanette's, so if you don't see me for a few days, its because I'm drugged and tonsil free. I'll be back as soon as possible.

We'll miss you tomorrow! Get well soon, missy!

And enjoy Metroid Prime. If you think using all the buttons are bad now, wait to you get ALL the cool whiz gear! Button mashing insanity is in store for you!
